I have finally finished this painting! It's been a long time coming... I started this painting many, many months ago... it took many twists and turns, and as many of my paintings do, ended up in quite a different place than I had imagined. But hooray, its evolution is complete.

My paintings have been getting so crazy, so much happening it makes me dizzy and I sometimes can't make sense of them. Funny though how I look back at my previous paintings and feel like they are too spare, empty somehow. I think all the chaos is representative of my life. So many things going on at once, not sure what to focus on. I latch onto one thing and then have to drop it for another.
